The wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine "Kate" Middleton is scheduled to take place at Westminster Abbey on Friday, 29 April 2011 at 11:00 am BST (UTC+1). Prince William, who is second in the line of succession to Queen Elizabeth II, first met Middleton in 2001, while both were students at the University of St Andrews. Their engagement, which began on 20 October 2010, was announced on 16 November 2010.
After the wedding, the couple intend to continue residing on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales, where Prince William is based as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot.

Lady Gaga sleeps in costume
"My best friends who often will crash at hotels where I'm at," she says. "They will come visit me on the road, they always call me a beauty queen disaster. I wake up and my wig's falling off my head. My mole is on the other side of face. My fake mole, it's not fake it's surreal."
She also says that her fame is "overwhelming" but she sometimes feels like people are trying to "destroy" her career.

The sentiment features in her forthcoming HBO special where she plays Madison Square Garden.
"That was a huge benchmark moment in my life. I'm 25 years old. I was asked to play Madison Square Garden. Sold out five nights and quite frankly it's very overwhelming," the Daily Mail quoted her as telling Ellen DeGeneres.
On being asked about her comments made on the documentary that she feels like a 'loser, Gaga replied, "Well, in that moment I was very excited and nervous, do I feel like a loser sometimes? Yes, of course I do. We all feel like losers sometimes."

Lady Gaga explains her horns, prosthetics
In her recent ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ interview, Gaga revealed that her “horns” are the result of inspiration, states The Chicago Sun Times. “They come out when I’m inspired,” Gaga said about her body.
And in case some thought that they were just a spur of the moment idea, they would be wrong: “They’ve always been inside of me, but I have been waiting for the right time to reveal to the universe who I truly am.”

Lady Gaga clip will 'shock the world'
The flamboyant singer has already finished shooting the video for her track Judas, which her creative director Laurieann Gibson was heavily involved with.
Laurieann knows many will be expecting something outrageous from the star given the title of the song - in the Bible, Judas was one of Jesus' apostles but ended up betraying him.
However, she thinks many will be pleasantly surprised by how uplifting the promo is.
"I will tell you now, first off, I'm Christian, and my career is evidence of God in my life, and I think that most people are already thinking that Gaga and the blasphemy and they're premeditating the approach and I think they'll be very shocked to find out how huge and really ground breaking the message is and how freeing the message is for all the right reasons," she told MTV News.
"And it's really going to shock the world."
Gaga portrays Mary Magdalene in the release, while Judas is played by Hawaii Five-0 actor Norman Reedus. Laurieann calls Norman's performance "prolific", and was blown away by how well he did.
She explained the whole video was directed by her and Gaga as they were so determined to get it right, especially as she thinks Gaga's previous promo for Born This Way could have been better.
"There was elements of Born This Way during our collaboration [with director Nick Knight] and, as much as I loved it, there were moments where, for me, it didn't really evolve as I had inspired of the actual creative, which was still fine," she explained.
"But when we got to Judas, it was very clear to me and the inspiration was very clear to her."
Religious groups have already spoken out about the clip, with Catholic League For Religious And Civil Rights president Bill Donahue telling NME.com Gaga was becoming irrelevant.
"People have real talent, and then there is Lady Gaga. I find Gaga to be increasingly irrelevant.
"Is this the only way to jet up her performance? This isn't random, we are getting closer to holy week and Easter."
The video is due out on April 19, NME.com said.
