Lady Gaga took her UK ‘Monster Ball’ concert to my city Birmingham last night (May 28th). It is there that she made the sudden announcement about her upcoming ‘Alejandro’ music video dropping in “three days” time (Monday, May 31st).

Edit: Delayed until June 7th. May be pushed back even further.

News: Lady Gaga Tested For Lupus

Queen of the music world, Lady Gaga, has been tested for lupus. Lupus is an disease that attacks immune system of the body. The singers aunt had also suffered the same health condition.

Lady Gaga, has recently complained of breathing problem, fatigue, blurred vision and constant headache. These symptom had been noticed since 2009. When the problem went out of tolerance, the singer was tested and diagnosed for Lupus.

Lady Gaga, however, requests her fans not to worry, “Yes, I have been tested. But I don't want anyone to be worried. I have heart palpitations but it's OK. It's just from fatigue and other things. I'm very connected to my aunt, Joanne, who died of lupus. It's a very personal thing. I don't want my fans to be worried about me,” says the singer.

Till date Lupus is said to be incurable but a lot depends as to which stage the disease has reached. No matter how much Lady Gaga assures of her good health, the outbreak of this news has cast a spell of sadness.

News: Gaga talks about the video of "Alejandro"

The video is about the “purity of my friendships with my gay friends”, Gaga had explained, earlier. “And how I’ve been unable to find that with a straight man in my life. It’s a celebration and an admiration of gay love – it confesses my envy of the courage and bravery they require to be together. In the video I’m pining for the love of my gay friends – but they just don’t want me.”

News: Gaga wants millinery internship

Pop star and fashion fan Lady Gaga has applied to do an internship with renowned hat designer Philip Treacy.

The Irish-born milliner designed two pieces of headwear for Gaga's recent Monster Ball tour.

"She requested an internship but nothing has been set in stone yet," a spokesperson for Treacy said.

Lady Gaga, 24, is famous for her often outlandish headgear, including a lobster hat and a telephone hat, both designed by Treacy.

Treacy began his business in the basement of fashion stylist Isabella Blow's house in London before opening his first shop next door in 1994.

He spent 10 years designing hats for Karl Lagerfield at Chanel and he has also designed hats for Valentino, Gianni Versace and Alexander McQueen at Givenchy.

He has won numerous designer awards and was appointed an OBE in 2007.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie and Cher are among his famous fans.

Lady Gaga, known for hits such Paparazzi and Just Dance, is playing Birmingham, London and Manchester in May and June - in the same venues she already played back in February.
